HEM petrol stations and TV chef Ralf Zacherl say thank you!
Hamburg, 2nd November 2021 – At HEM, the focus is on the people. With this year’s advertising campaign “HEM. Unterwegs Dein Zuhause.”, which was launched on TV in July, the petrol station chain already moved the well-being of the customer into focus. The message: the customer should feel at home with HEM and be happy to come back.
But HEM also knows that there are industries that do even more for their fellow human beings and do so every day of the year. So, the petrol station chain came up with the idea of using this year’s Reformation Day as an opportunity to say thank you to the people who cannot be at home with their loved ones on Sundays or public holidays, but who instead do something for other people. For this purpose, the HEM food truck was created to stop at the “Lotti-Tonello-Haus” and “Domicil” nursing homes in Lübeck last Sunday to reward the care workers with a free lunch.
Lunch supplies for a good cause
The delicious snacks were presented by none other than TV chef Ralf Zacherl, who has already cooked his way into the hearts of the customers through his long-standing partnership with HEM and his great snacks for the Bistro Vital. For the charitable cause, Ralf Zacherl was volunteering that day and, together with HEM, brought a little piece of “home” to the workplace of the employees of the retirement homes. “The employees who look after other people don’t know a ‘nine-to-five job’ and are also on duty on Sundays and public holidays,” says Zacherl. “I am happy if I could give them a little joy today with one of my creations.” With Ralf Zacherl, HEM has a partner by its side not only on this year’s Reformation Day, but in the long term, who is committed to the culinary needs of its customers.
